Caregiver


Duties:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the individual.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the individual.
• Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of systems for providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs.
• Familiarity with home care practices and procedures.
• Ability to clean and maintain a safe living environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the position).
• Must pass a background check.
