Description

Principal Responsibilities: Perform a diverse range of skilled and complex mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks. Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant facilities crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and processes. $7500 sign-on bonus, 2nd and 3rd shift direct hire positions available.

Key Duties:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties. Determine effective repair procedures to prevent reoccurrence.
Navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software to troubleshoot equipment faults.
Modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots, including models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Perform both gas and electric welding operations.
Maintain accurate machine repair records, handle associated duties, and keep the work area neat and orderly.
Execute preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
Fulfill other related duties as assigned by supervision or designated team leader.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in applying principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses).
48 months of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
Proficient in troubleshooting die casting machine cells using PLCs and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics is preferred.
