The HR Consultant is responsible for providing expertise and being a facilitator on people, talent, and culture trends. Works with SHRM sales teams to understand customer needs and deliver excellent HR consulting services to acquired accounts. This position will design and deliver customized customer engagements and support SHRM's largest B2B customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Consultative HR Services**:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of HR issues, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with their business objectives and foster a positive work environment.
  • Track & analyze enterprise needs and convert them into product development.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure that our HR solutions are innovative, effective, and compliant.

Client Deliverables:


  • Work closely with clients to understand their challenges, goals, and requirements.
  • Develop customized HR solutions and deliverables to address strategic client needs.
  • Ensure timely and highquality delivery of client projects and deliverables, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Presentation Creation and Delivery:


  • Develop engaging and informative presentations on various HR topics such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and HR best practices.
  • Tailor presentations to meet the specific needs and objectives of each client.
  • Deliver presentations to clients clearly, confidently, and professionally, effectively conveying key messages and recommendations.

Sales Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and other materials to effectively communicate the value proposition of our HR consulting services to prospective clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed to support the sales process and showcase our expertise and capabilities.
  • Support the design of new enterprise experiences at conferences and events.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field; or extensive relevant experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience working to develop HRrelated products or human capital consulting experience
  • Preferred work experience in solution design and implementations and/or consulting
  • 3+ years experience interacting with seniorlevel clients/management, including presentation of complex concepts, negotiating difficult situations, and developing solutions
  • Demonstrated influencing abilities, public speaking, and social media presence are highly desirable

CERTIFICATIONS

  • SHRM-CP/SCP certification or acquire it within 9 months of being hired.

  • Excellent analytic skills, with the ability to synthesize customer requirements based on accumulated information and data.

  • A future orientation demonstrated ability to anticipate and incorporate future trends and developments into SHRM offerings.
  • Strong expertise in HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of driving client deliverables and achieving results.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software/systems.
  • Prior experience working in a consulting firm or professional services environment is a plus.
