Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibility provides roadside assistance to AAA members for vehicles that are having starting problems. Test the battery and electrical system to determine the cause of the no-start problem and perform jump start or battery replacement when needed.

• Maintain minimum performance standards in conversion, testing and installations.
• Report results of all diagnostic testing to the member explaining what additional repairs may be necessary and provides referrals to AAR approved facilities.
• You will also be required, at our expense, to properly maintain your assigned vehicle, its equipment & tools, and manage our battery inventory.
• Fuel Delivery: If a member runs out of fuel you will provide enough to restart & reach a service station
• Spare tire installation: if the member has a flat or unsafe tire you will install their spare tire (if possible)

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (required)
• Work authorization (required)
• Driver's License with no moving traffic violations (required); Satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check during prehire screening and periodically during employment in accordance with policy required
• Possess general working knowledge of geography and ability to read maps; strong knowledge of assigned local area (Lackawanna County); will use various equipment in performance of duties such as computerized communications equipment, GPS, computers/software
• Available to work assigned hours; ability to report to work in all types of weather to service members.
• Lifting, reaching, bending, lying on ground, working outside in heat/cold and all types of weather will be required in performance of duties. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds
• Industry leading personalized
  (PAID) training & software access that will allow you to perform these services safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• A purposebuilt specially outfitted vehicle. Full company uniform provided and required to be worn. Safety work boots and safety glasses required.
