    Job Description:

    The ideal Senior Manager of Growth Finance...

    Will lead Poshmark's Growth Finance function as the first line of defense ensuring we allocate capital in the right quantities, to the right areas of the business to drive profitable growth. You will partner extensively with Growth Marketing and Data Analytics teams to set the topline growth strategy, analyze performance, recommend tactical adjustments, and report on results. This role requires a passion for solving puzzles, an ability to recognize patterns, and a curiosity to understand the "why" behind business trends. Candidates with an assertive personality who can identify hypotheses for growth related questions (e.g. why is user retention on XYZ marketing channel increasing or decreasing vs last quarter?) and relentlessly pursue answers will be positioned to succeed in this role. You'll coach your team to grow towards these same skills and gain leverage as a leader through their success.

    In this role you will have direct access to the Poshmark leadership team and the expectation that you will be able to influence their decision making.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide Poshmark leadership with actionable business insights and recommendations to drive growth while optimizing costs - including strategic decisions on pricing, product, and policies
    • Build on and improve our capital allocation framework evaluating total marketing budgets, as well as geographic and channel allocation
    • Determine ROI on new growth initiatives, and track performance against targets
    • Drive the success of international expansion by collaborating closely with Marketing, Data, and International markets' teams to set growth strategy, refine tactics and deliver results
    • Lead the finance growth function, facilitating your team members' success in their roles achievement of their career goals
    • Serve the Poshmark user community by identifying and pursuing opportunities to make their Poshmark experience even better
    • Achieve select free cash flow enhancement goals through existing initiatives and your own ideas
    3-Month Accomplishments
    • Develop a firm grasp of Poshmark's key business metrics and their drivers; proactively identify changes in trends and be able to explain underlying causes
    6+ Month Accomplishments
    • Deliver improvements on our capital allocation framework resulting in improved forecasting accuracy and higher returns on marketing outlays
    • Proactively identify and recommend new growth initiatives supported by robust analysis
    Minimum Skills and Experience:
    • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
    • 7+ years in Finance, Banking, and/or Management Consulting
    • Experience managing revenue planning and forecasting at a marketplace or B-to-C company
    • A command of corporate financial planning, modeling, reporting and analysis
    • People management experience and a desire to lead and mentor a growing team
    • Highly analytical, detail oriented and inquisitive
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to collaborate constructively with, and influence business partners
    Preferred Skills and Experience:
    • Experience in startup or high-growth company corporate finance
    • Experience with Pigment or similar planning tools, especially implementation of said tools
    • Experience in or understanding of e-commerce and/or marketplace business models
    Salary Range:
    $137, $199,500.00 Annual
