Description

A financial firm is looking for anIT Support Engineer to join their team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $100-130k

Responsibilities:

Resolve IT support requests from end-users in a timely and efficient manner
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing clear and concise instructions for issue resolution
Work with other team members to escalate complex problems to higher-tier support
Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access permissions
Conduct training sessions to empower end-users and enhance their technical skills
Assist in basic cloud maintenance tasks
Basic Linux server administration and maintenance tasks
Help create technical documentation and manuals for end users

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in providing Tier 1 and 2 support in an IT environment
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Exposure to Linux environment is a plus
Basic scripting language skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) preferred
