We are assisting an exclusive hospital system for a full-time Diagnostic Sonographer.


Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

  • Performs quality ultrasound exams on patients in assigned departments.
  • Implements clinical protocols and policies.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, and families, as well as staff and physicians.
  • Reviews requisition for pertinent information, special requests, and correct procedures as ordered, and reviews physician order for procedure/test.
  • Performs completion of documentation and completes all required processes
  • Maintains medical supplies in all rooms and required stock items.
  • Prepares and cleans rooms.
  • Maintains and prepares all equipment/instruments in exam rooms.
  • Other duties as consistent with this role.

Requirements:


  • Degree or certificate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program strongly preferred
  • Certification in specialty area by the ARDMS within 12 months of graduation
  • BCLS certification required

Pay:
$ $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
