Responsibilities

  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
  • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people
  • Maintain access control of premises
  • Secure all exits, doors and windows
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and report hazards and unlawful acts
  • Investigate and report suspicious activity
  • Respond to alarms by investigating and using good judgment
  • Provide assistance to people in need
  • Detain disruptive or unauthorized persons according to legal protocol and alerting authorities
  • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Skills

  • Outstanding customer Service
  • Proven security experience
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Current Security Guard License required
  • High School diploma is required
  • Current Driver's license helpful
