Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to pediatric patients.
- Assess and diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as appropriate.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and xrays.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Refer patients to other healthcare professionals as needed.
