As an expert in optical design, you will play a key role in the (further) development of innovative optoelectronic measuring devices. Your opportunity:

  • Your focus will be on designing and optimizing lens and imaging systems for our optical measuring devices
  • Performing ray-optical analysis of lens contour accuracy and wavefront aberrations using ray tracing methods; evaluating image quality and approving lenses
  • Close collaboration with experts from other disciplines in product development to ensure optimal interaction between optics, mechanics, and electronics in the overall system
  • Becoming the central expert for optical design in our company, as well as the technical contact for internal and external optical suppliers
  • Attending events for further education and networking with professionals in the field

Your strengths:

  • Physicist or engineer (university/college) with a focus on optics/laser or optotechnology, preferably in the field of interferometry
  • Expertise in fine optics, ray optics, and ray tracing
