    Glen Acres Golf & Country Club, located 10 minutes south of downtown, is looking for a Golf ShopAssistant to join their golf operations teamThe Golf Shop Assistant is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of the golf shop andcoordinates with the Head Golf Professional to provide exceptional service to our members and guests.

    This includes meeting or exceeding our established standards for guest satisfaction, sales and financialperformance hours per week.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Assist the Golf Shop in achieving targets through the maximization of the tee sheet. Use golf shop related systems efficiently, including Clubessential point of sale software.

    Clean and maintain golf carts and range supply on a daily basis Greet members and assist them throughout their time at the golf shop in a friendly, and courteous manner.

    Phone and computer skills preferred.

    Assist with tournament operationsKnowledgeable regarding Glen Acres member offerings and Club eventsKnowledge and Enforcement of Club play policies, dress codes, and pace of play on the golf course.


    Requirements:


    QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEAble to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignmentsMust be comfortable working in a fast paced environmentGood working knowledge of the golf business.

    Must be willing to work afternoons and weekend days.
    Must be 18-years-old and a high school graduate.
    Prior experience with computerized point of sale and/or cash register systems.
    Basic knowledge of golf course operations.
    Ability to properly lift up to 40 pounds.
