Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring a
Scheduler/Insurance Verification Representative - Full Time schedule


Required:
HS Diploma or equivalent


Required:

Two of the four skill levels:

  • 1. One year experience in healthcare environment
  • 2. Completion of healthcare related certificate program
  • 3. One year experience with medical insurance in a hospital or physician office
  • 4. Transferable skills (i.e., 1 year or more in a call center, customer services, etc.)


Sentara RMH Medical Center, a Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg VA, serves a seven-county area with a population of 218,000 residents.

The 238-bed community hospital partnered with the Sentara Healthcare system in May of 2011.

Talroo-Allied Health, insurance verification, pre-certification, scheduling

Performs insurance verification for all scheduled patient services and obtains required pre-certifications in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Schedules procedures/Appointments for patients in a computerized scheduling system accurately and completely obtaining required information in the scheduling process, ensuring the correct patient and procedure requested, has been scheduled.

Responsible for order entry process, communications, guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, and various clerical duties.
