Vista Host, with more than 35 properties nationwide, is seeking
Guest Service Representatives for the
Towneplace Suites Austin Round Rock. Our extended-stay hotel provides easy access to popular attractions, including La Frontera Village, Old Settlers Park, Dell Diamond, The Domain, Typhoon Texas Waterpark and the Austin Aquarium. Dell corporate headquarters, the Apple Inc. campus, Northtech Business Center, along with many other businesses, are also nearby.

A
Guest Service Representative is responsible for guest registration, departure processing, and communication of hotel services.

Extremely customer focused, this role creates opportunity for an engaging, outgoing personality to shine and create a positive guest experience.

Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires.

This position will be responsible for following all procedures and duties set by management, which may include tasks outside of standard front desk operations.

You are responsible for creating a positive Hilton experience to the standards set forth by showing a high level of ownership and responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and Brand goals.
  • Remain highly visible and readily available for guests at all times.
  • Take initiative to offer assistance or answer questions throughout the hotel.
  • Adhere to hotel credit policies and procedures, including credit card authorization, direct bill accounts, checkcashing, cashpayment guests, telephone deposits, etc.
  • Balance, investigate, analyze and correct any outofbalance accounts involving all vouchers, charges accurately.
  • Manage guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Document all guest requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify designated department/personnel for resolving the situation. Follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:


  • 12 years of hotel leadership experience
  • Exposure to all areas of hotel operations with an emphasis on rooms
  • Must have strong management and leadership capabilities
  • Handson, outgoing personality with excellent people skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
