Your Job:


The Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the company's multiple entities.

The Controller will have extensive experience in GAAP accounting, financial analysis, and a proven track record of implementing financial policies and procedures.

This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and manages the day-to-day accounting and financial functions as well as working closely with senior leaders to support financial performance and strategic decision-making.


The Controller will be responsible for
Accounting, Financial Reporting, and
Team Management activities as well as other tasks and duties outlined below.


Your duties:

  • Accounting
  • Manage all aspects of the company's accounting functions.
  • Manage payroll process and vendor relationship.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Ensure benefits requirements and compliance are met.


  • Financial Reporting

  • Prepare financial reports, statements, forecasts, and adhoc financial analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and make recommendations.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing analysis of financial performance against budget and forecast.
  • Oversee banking and cash management as well as cash flow forecasting.
  • Work with the CFO on tax planning and filings.


  • Team Management

  • Lead and motivate the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Identify training and development needs within the team and implement initiatives.
  • Address performance issues and conflicts in a timely and constructive manner.

Your Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • CPA or CMA certification is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in GAAP accounting and financial reporting.
  • Experience with accounting and payroll software.
  • Experience working in forprofit consulting or professional services organizations.
