Job Description

Managing the accounting department and leading 3 dedicated employees, as well as collaborating with other departments (controlling, purchasing, sales support, and others)

Assisting with the preparation of period-end financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and creating monthly closing entries according to HGB and IFRS standards

Ensuring compliance with all internal group accounting and reporting policies (according to IFRS) as well as local legal requirements (according to HGB)

Preparing audit-ready documentation

Acting as the main contact for local audits and ad-hoc projects

Central point of contact and support for local management, banks, and treasury

Reviewing, approving, and processing payments, as well
