    Responsibilities:<\/strong>
    <\/p>

    • Conducting thorough background investigations to assess the suitability of individuals needing access to sensitive or classified U.S. Government information<\/li>
    • Coordinating meetings with Subjects, Sources, and Record providers<\/li>
    • Performing face-to-face interviews with investigation subjects, as well as their neighbors, employers, friends, and family<\/li>
    • Searching records at various institutions such as police agencies, courthouses, schools, financial establishments, and medical\/mental health facilities<\/li>
    • Documenting all gathered information accurately in a detailed report within a designated government system<\/li><\/ul>

      Qualifications Required:<\/strong><\/p>

      • U.S. Citizenship<\/li>
      • Current Tier 5 SSBI clearance<\/li>
      • High School diploma or equivalent<\/li>
      • Previous experience in conducting DHS background investigations with completion of required training<\/li>
      • 3 years of general experience (e.g., military, law enforcement) or 1 year of specialized Federal Background Investigative experience<\/li>
      • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle with good driving record<\/li>
      • Strong communication and organizational skills<\/li>
      • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment<\/li>
      • Proficiency in typing and computer operations<\/li>
      • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards<\/li>
      • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally beyond<\/li>
      • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds<\/li><\/ul>
