We are seeking reliable and experienced Security Officers in Washington, DC for our Diplomatic locations to become an integral part of our team.

Selected individuals will patrol and secure assigned premises, do security checks, search visitors, operate with metal detectors as well as identify risks to staff and visitors.

Full Time and Part Time contract positions are available immediately. Pay rate for these positions are $18.50-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

Greet patrons.

Be able to stand or sit for 8-12 hours.

Security check.

Threat detection.

Perimeter patrols - foot patrols.

Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.

Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.

Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.

Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.

Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.


Qualifications:

Must have a current and valid unarmed S/O license.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields.
Familiarity with security equipment.
Ability to handle physical workload.

Active Unarmed/Armed Virginia Security License (DCJS).


Active S/O License.
Active SPO License.

Reliably commute to job location.
