Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


This position is responsible for the following
:Other duties will be assigned that support the overall HR department based the organization's production workload.



  • Assist with implementing recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated craft staffing needs as directed.
  • Upon receipt of manpower request, locate applicants with appropriate qualification.
  • Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills and match to current needs by evaluating qualifications and/or specified licensing, according to established guidelines.
  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, schedules, and working conditions.
  • Schedule applicants for required skills testing with the QC Department, receive test results, and classify new employees according to the current rate scale.
  • Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
  • Schedule & conduct new hire orientation.
  • Evaluate selection or testing techniques by conducting research conferring with management and/or field supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and other labor laws.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry trends.

Required Education & Experience:


  • Associates Degree (preferred) in related field or commensurate experience.
  • Two to five years' experience in Human Resource/Recruiting field.

Working Conditions:


  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment and be able to attend meetings at various sites within and away from office.
  • Mobility to climb up and down stairs, as needed.
  • Strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, including the ability to look at a computer screen for at least eight hours each day.
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

Necessary Equipment Operation:


  • Office equipment, including telephone, fax machine, scanner, computer, printer.

Special Skills:


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Able to work in a highly confidential manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High performance and a strong team player.
