    Training Manager- FPA Access Center - New York, United States - Mount Sinai Health System

    Job Description

    The Training Manager develops curriculum, delivers training and uses evaluative data to drive future interventions. Provides coordination for training activities and assumes project management responsibilities for assigned programs. This individual is an integral member of the team, and may be charged with change management and/or involved in system upgrades.

    Responsibilities

    1. Develops curriculum, prepares course materials and examinations.

    2. Trains, manages and evaluates Training Specialists.

    3. Revises procedures and training course materials.

    4. Coordinates and delivers classroom training.

    5. Designs job aids and manuals to meet training outcomes as defined by needs assessment.

    6. Designs, implements and facilitates open enrollment courses.

    7. Aligns programs with institutional goals.

    8. Inputs course data into Learning Management System or other database.

    9. Conducts general and role- specific orientations.

    10. Provides feedback to customers. Follow up with customer to assess further needs, and outcomes of training.

    11. Represents the department at meetings of hospital-wide initiatives.

    12. Maintains records on attendance and feedback by trainees.

    13. Maintains knowledge of best training practices and disseminates cutting edge practices in training, professional development and education.

    14. Develops policies and procedures related to system, standards and best practices.

    15. Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    5 years minimum training experience with 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role (some group experience, seminar and/or health care experience may be accepted in lieu of formal training).
