Leasing Specialist, you're not just filling vacancies - you're shaping the lifestyle of our residents.

You'll be the embodiment of our brand, showcasing the unique features of our properties, forging connections with potential tenants, and ensuring their journey to their dream home is seamless.

This is a
Full-Time position.


Salary range:
$55K - $60K plus $150 commission/unit


Schedule:
Availability required for a five-day workweek, including Saturdays and Sundays.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greet prospects and positively present property and amenities to prospective tenants.
  • Qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions; utilize completed guest cards, etc.).
  • Immediately record all telephone and inperson visits on appropriate reports.
  • Inspect available "market ready" units, communicate related service needs to Operations Manager/Director of Operations.
  • Immediately followup on prospects that did not close, negotiate leasing terms and conditions and reattempt to close sale. If unable to help prospect, refer them to affiliated communities to meet prospect's needs.
  • Assist management team with other various tasks as required.
  • Maintain a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing offices and other areas where prospective residents and current residents meet.
  • Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contribute ideas to the property manager for the marketing community and for improving resident satisfaction.
  • Complete and file Guest Card information form on all clients, send thankyou notes and perform followup.
  • Physically inspect community when on grounds, pick up litter and report any service needs to maintenance staff. Inspect moveouts and vacancies.
  • Conduct market surveys and shop competitive communities.
  • Organize and file appropriate reports, leases, and paperwork.

Qualifications:


  • 24 years of sales or leasing experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required.
  • Knowledge of Yardi or a similar property management system preferred.
  • Must possess a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Neat, clean, professional always throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
  • A reliable vehicle for commuting between sites is essential.
