Job Description

Clean Hamper is a locally owned and operated laundry washing service in Binghamton, NY, and servicing the Broome County area.

Our services include washing and folding, specialty cleaning of larger items, stain and spot removal, hang drying, and steaming/ironing services. We pick up and deliver customers' orders or our customers can drop their laundry off at our facility and then pick it back up, at their convenience.

Clean Hamper laundry pick up and delivery orders can be scheduled on line ), offering a convenient and streamlined process to get laundry completed for our customers. Each order is completed and returned within the specified time frame scheduled.

We are currently seeking a laundry attendant who enjoys helping and serving others, while also having a strong appreciation for detail, organization, and cleanliness in the workplace. This is position also requires being cross trained as a driver for pick up and deliveries.

Primary Responsibility:

Pick up and Deliver Laundry Orders with a professional and courteous demeanor
Provide superior customer service and care during all interactions with customers
- Go the extra mile to answer questions, customer concerns, or provide more information about our services and company.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Maintain organization in a changing environment
Prioritize and accomplish goals on a daily basis
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
Sort all incoming linens and other goods
Washes all laundry per appropriate guidelines
Folds all laundry accordingly
Iron all items accordingly
Bag, box and label items accordingly
Provide Laundry Pick Up and Delivery Services to various locations within Broome County
Load and unload vehicle for delivers and pickups
Strict compliance to pick up and delivery time frames given
Possess a professional customer service demeanor in written or verbal communication with coworkers and customers
Ensure company vehicle is cleaned and organized after each shift
Ability to problem solve and seek help from management when needed
Practice safe driving and demonstrate compliance to state and federal laws regarding motor vehicles.
Compliance with uniform policy
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Additional Tasks as requested by Manager or Owner

Qualifications:

Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds by yourself and more with assistance
Ability to drive company owned/ branded vehicle, no use of personal vehicle
Must be comfortable with technology
Must have strong organizational sense
Requires the ability to walk and stand during entire work shift, and use stairs

Compensation and Hours:

$20.00/ Hour

8:00 AM-5:00 PM (additional time as needed)- Schedule may Flex 35-40 hours weekly
