- Load your vehicle and follow the delivery schedule accordingly
- Early mornings are a must. Start times will vary from 5 am - 7 am
- Perform routine safety inspections and communicate vehicle maintenance needs
- Responsibly delivery products in challenging weather conditions. Snow happens regularly on our route and a driver must be comfortable driving in inclement weather
- Adhere to delivery schedules
- Some merchandising in certain customers - some customers require merchandising of product. This requires that we communicate effectively with our customers
- Keep track of billing throughout the day. Collect checks and signatures (varies per account)
- Comply with all company policies and driving laws
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Familiarity with GPS systems
- Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances
