    Description

    Title:

    Senior Systems Engineer at KBR

    KBR is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team supporting PMA-231 Advanced Programs. The E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA-231) is in charge of providing support to the E-2C Hawkeye, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, Hawkeye 2000, and C-2A Greyhound fleet in terms of acquisition strategy, logistics, and sustainment solutions for the warfighter's mission.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Supports system design, development, integration, and testing to provide solutions to customer requirements.
    • Handles specific task questions and engages in advanced problems solving.
    • Performs physical tests, analyzes data, and interprets information.
    • Prepares recommendations and solutions for specific areas.
    • Provides leadership and direction to team members on the project.
    • Responsible for analyzing requirements and models in support of project goals.
    • Collaborates with customers in the preparation of assessments, system implementation plans, and more.
    • Utilizes tools like DOORS and Cameo to analyze system updates and provide recommendations.
    • Reviews and provides recommendations on documentation such as System Segment Specifications and Interface Design Documents.
    • Travel (10-15%) is required for this role.
    • On-site support is mandatory for this position.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience supporting naval aircraft system software integration and testing.
    • Applicant selected will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
    • Must be willing to travel as required by the contract.

    Preferred Experience

    • Interoperability integration and testing
    • E-2D Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and Link-16
    • Software testing
    • Excellent written and verbal communications
    • Professionalism and customer service
