As our Software Application Engineer, you will...

  • be responsible for customer-specific software applications and validation for commercial vehicle transmissions using Vector tools
  • define system and functional requirements
  • conduct proof-of-concept tests for drivability, fault reactions, availability, and safety, and document and standardize the results
  • approve software for production release
  • collaborate closely with employees from functional and software development, system validation, testing, and application at international locations

Be our forward thinker

As our ideal candidate, you...

  • have a degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering, or a similar qualification with several years of professional experience
  • have experience in data field coordination for application software
  • have excellent German and English skills (spoken and written) and good computer skills
  • are able to work independently and in a structured manner
  • have a valid Class C/CE or D driver's license (preferred)
  • have a confident and reliable demeanor when interacting with customers
  • are willing to travel for business
