You are responsible for the following product categories: packaging, printed materials, stamped parts, rubber molded parts, risk management

  • Global procurement of technical production materials, taking into account multiple factors
  • Coordination and management of global supply chains
  • Development and implementation of sustainable purchasing strategies
  • Qualification and development of existing and potential new suppliers both domestically and internationally
  • Participation in supplier selection, qualification, approval, and conducting supplier audits
  • Independent negotiation of supply contracts and quality assurance and framework agreements
  • Close cooperation with the departments of design, production, and quality assurance
  • Identification and implementation of cost reduction measures and conducting value analyses

What you can already be proud of

  • A completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable technical education, as well as initial professional experience in purchasing
  • You have first-hand experience in purchasing technical parts, as well as knowledge in supplier selection, evaluation/auditing, and developing new sources of supply
  • Basic knowledge in project management, experience with SAP/R3 or S4, and fluent English language skills round off your profile
  • You are characterized by an analytical, conceptual, and goal-oriented way of working, enjoy
