Summary:
The Site Director is responsible for the full operations of the assigned child care center site. This is a full-time position with at least a three year base commitment and possible renewal.
The position includes 4 weeks paid time off including 2 weeks of closure days in November and December, health reimbursement arrangement benefit, and Simple IRA retirement benefit.
The center is located in the Upper Valley Area (NH/VT).Duties:
- Oversees the operations of the school including conducting classroom ratio checks, classroom and faculty scheduling, operating the school within budget.
- Supervises school staff. Hires, evaluates, trains, disciplines and recommends dismissal of staff as necessary.
- Coordinate staff call outs as of 6 am M-F and daily classroom coverage.
- Develops, recommends, and administers policies, procedures, and processes in support of school operations; implements and monitors compliance with approved policies, procedures, and processes. Ensures compliance with applicable local, state and federal licensing and permitting requirements.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping including faculty files, student files, and classroom records. This includes oversight of the proper use of the Brightwheel app used by staff and families.
- Work with the Director of Operations to run safety programs including conducting disaster drills, planning First-Aid, CPR, and other training, implementing a health program, and conducting emergency preparedness training.
- Work with the Director of Education to provide faculty orientation, complete faculty reviews, facilitate monthly faculty meetings.
- Provide assistance with registration and enrollment of new families.
- Serve as preschool teacher as needed.
- Organize and host school events.
- Act as the Montessori mentor for the team, and make sure that the Montessori methodology is always applied.
Schedule:
M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm at center, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm on-call remotely
Pay:
$48, $60,000.00 per year
