Role Conditions:


  • Salary Range: $120,000 $140,000 based upon relevant experience.
  • Location: Merritt Island, FL / 3 days on site 2 days remote

Your Mission


You are the focal point for industrial and quality topics towards the supplier and internal organization, ensuring proper equipment manufacturing (Configuration, Conformity, Capacity).


You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of the equipment / supplier to enable effective control of the manufacturing processes and quality controls, and will coordinate the interfaces of all the stakeholders involved in the supplier management (procurement, technical, quality, material & processes).

You will be in charge of developing the supplier, reviewing industrial maturity and readiness for high volume production:

  • Assess risks/opportunities through regular audit
  • Drive mitigation/improvement plans with all stakeholders (supplier and internal)
  • Continuous follow up of the supplier

Your Day-to-Day

Provide leadership and
manage daily the supplier on all aspects of the supplier production:

  • ensuring As design/As build consistency and traceability
- leading quality reviews (deviation/wavering process/Non Conformity) and coordinating the interfaces of all stakeholders involved in the supplier management (technical, procurement, material & processes)
- change management
- deliveries approval

  • Review production line/sub tiers capacity maturity and readiness, and take appropriate improvement actions
  • Assess production capacity and identify/drive with the supplier improvement plan when needed

  • Identify the possible gaps of capacity / capability
  • Propose improvement and support the developments required to meet the expected performance

Acquiring an in-depth
knowledge of the equipment / supplier

Resolving conflicts within the project team and providing leadership and motivation to build the team into an effective unit.

  • Reporting to Head of Supplier Development Manager team
  • Position will be located in Merritt Island, Florida and requires 2550% travel (domestic and international).

Your Profile

  • Key skills:

  • Interpersonal skills to drive projects within an international environment
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong networking and relations building skills
  • MS Engineering degree (or equivalent), ideally in Electronics, Mechanical or Thermal
  • Knowledge of mass production constraints (in automotive, aeronautics ) would be a plus
  • Knowledge of APQP, LEAN methodology would be a plus
  • Knowledge of robust design tools would be a plus (DFMEA, 6 sigma,)
