- Support advisors in research and trades of ETFs, mutual funds, stocks, and bonds
- Assist with monitoring of current and prospective investments
- Assist with special investment/client-related projects
- Assist with tracking and valuation of alternative investments
- Respond to client service requests
- Prepare investment proposals and monitor portfolios for rebalancing
- Balancing multiple roles across the firm - advisory, financial planning, operations, relationship management - through a variety of tasks
- Follow and have knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Develop skills and knowledge to progress into Portfolio Manager role.
- 2 or more years of professional work experience
- Introductory knowledge and interest in investments and financial planning
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic, detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow
- Ability to obtain a securities representative license (Series 65) in first year of employment
- BA/BS degree preferred (additional work experience required for those without a degree)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance
