- Provide semi-professional technical support for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement pertaining to electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment.
- Practical knowledge of science or engineering as well as mathematics or computer science.
- Candidate will remove, assemble or install equipment or parts requiring hand and power tools (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, taps, impact wrench)
- Perform simple or routine tasks such as masking for preparation of paint or blasting, scraping utilizing knives and blades, movement of material to and from varying locations. Tasks will be under limited supervision or from detailed procedures
- Gather and maintain data and imputing data into databases or data packages.
- Candidate will operate in environments that could result in the use of ladders, scissor lifts and or man lifts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; Interim Secret needed to start
- Must be able to use a computer and simple software applications.
- Must be adept with most hand and power tools (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, nut drivers, impact wrench...)
- Must be familiar with mechanical and electrical concepts and applications and must have experience using testing equipment such as: volt/ohm meters, power supplies, micrometers, calipers and depth gauges.
- Must have working experience dealing with mechanical and electrical prints
- Database or Excel experience is a bonus
- Forklift experience is preferred
