- Looking for a Distributor Operator
- Safely operates roller to compress/compact dirt, aggregate, or blacktop to achieve the specified grading and smooth surface.
- Reads grade stakes and works with grade checker, laser, or GPS to maintain grade.
- Determines speed and direction of roller based on knowledge of compressible material to achieve a smooth grade or surface.
- Works closely with other crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that roller is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and adequate lubrication.
- Report to the shop when the roller needs maintenance and repair.
- Keeping equipment clean and preparing equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
- Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at the job site.
- Follow the Supervisor's instructions closely.
- Understand the basics of roller mechanicals.
- Knowledge of how to run a nuclear gauge and a PQI non-nuclear gauge.
- Understand and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.

- Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
- Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
