Position Overview:
Assists QC/QA Manager in the testing identity of incoming ingredients, bulk powder/capsules, finished products, and vendor qualification


Reports to:
Quality Manager


General Responsibilities:

• Assist with regular training for employees on quality issues and develop programs to encourage employees to perform quality control as part of all operations
• Assist with regular training for employees on quality issues and develop Sampling of all incoming raw materials and packaging components.
• Collect samples for QC per the procedure in Sample Management

SOP:

• Assist with maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform line checks for packaging and ATP checks for production
• Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
• Assist with filing test sheets and batch records
• Maintain a high level of awareness for GMP compliance
• Adheres to strict guidelines of Personal Hygiene.
• High level of cleaning and sanitizing of the workstation.
• Follow Good documentation practice.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:
At least 6 months of professional experience in a nutraceutical QC position or equivalent education

Preferably male due to lifting of ingredient boxes.

Hired applicants to undergo background check and drug test.

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
