    Job Summary

    • The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing all facets of Occupational Therapy across all age groups with disabilities, ailments, and injuries to enhance and regain optimal functionality.
    • Possesses an understanding of growth and development principles and the capability to address specific concerns and data relevant to the patient's condition.
    • Demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care to the diverse population served by the department.
    • For Swingbed, the main caseload includes individuals 18 years and older, while the pediatrics caseload covers birth to 21, with occasional assistance for patients in other age brackets.

    Education and/or Experience

    • A Master's Degree is a requirement.
    • A Doctorate Degree is preferred.
    • At least 0-6 months of experience is mandatory.
    • 1-2 years of experience is desirable.
    • A valid Driver's License is a prerequisite.

    CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS

    • Must hold a valid license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners.
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is obligatory.
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is preferred.

    Work Schedule

    • As needed from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; PRN basis.

    Pay

    The hourly pay range for this position is outlined below. Actual hourly wages are determined based on experience.

    • $45.75 per hour
