- Manage timely investigations and responses to patient concerns/complaints/grievances.
- Provide consultation on disclosure for professional staff and hospital.
- Respond to requests for intervention in difficult patient/family situations.
- Document and disseminate information regarding concerns and requests for quality assurance.
- Draft formal responses to patients and families on behalf of senior leadership.
- Conduct rounds with patients/families to gather feedback on hospital experiences.
- Monitor trends in patient/family concerns and complaints.
- Assist with service improvement initiatives within clinical areas.
- Provide training/education on interpersonal connections with patients and families.
- Educate and promote Center for Patients and Families services to staff.
- Provide coverage for other service lines as needed.
- Maintain department service standards and perform other assigned duties.
- Advocate for patients and families in a clinical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and manage confidential information.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with experience in data management.
- Physical activity includes walking and assisting patients in wheelchairs.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of experience in customer service development, training, and implementation.
