JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager of Production Support is responsible for supporting, managing, training and mentoring the Production Assistants, Production Coordinators and Senior Production Coordinators.

This position is also responsible for recruiting and hiring new production support as needed. The Manager of Production Support will also work on and support clients by providing the highest quality of execution.

This position will report to the SVP of EDG, and they will collaborate with all EDG Managers to support the overall department goals and team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


The general responsibilities include:

Department Management

  • Oversee processes and systems to aid the efficient workings of the team, their onboarding and overall professioal development
  • Manage and train all production support staff, utilizing current process and creating, adapting and developing additional tools / process where needed
  • Train staff that is well rounded and focused on implementation of all IVC solutions and services.
  • Conduct regular 1:1's with all direct reports, and dotted line reports
  • Utilize Action Plan document, Employee Reviews and Goal Incentive Program as tools to aid in employee development
  • Track employee billable time/vacation time/ to ensure proper work/life balance
  • Support the introduction and development of new freelance resources into the department
  • Collaborate with resource team on all production assignments for production support staff and freelance personnel.
  • Collaborate with other EDG managers for successful onboarding of team members and project work
  • Report employee issues to management team and HR to find solutions

Project Management

  • Continue to produce, oversee, and manage projects
  • Participate in proposals on an as needed basis, creating budgets and overseeing event production elements until a Producer is assigned when available and applicable
  • Participate in client meetings when appropriate
  • Participate in account/project development meetings with teams as needed
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the SVP of EDG

Office Administration

  • Review, approve and track all direct report employees Amex, Expenses and Time Off requests are in prior to due dates
  • Serve as the spokesperson and champion for production support to other departments and offices within the company

HOURS:
Regular hours (not including travel) are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (40 hours per week). However, due to the nature and scope of the position days and hours may fluctuate.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to perform job duties that may include an average amount of lifting (+ or - 25lbs.), sitting, bending, stooping and standing is required.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel is associated with this position. Travel for InVision related business is reimbursable at the amount allotted under state & federal guidelines. An expense sheet must be submitted for reimbursement.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

This position requires a minimum of 8 years experience in the area of production management and/or producing at a high level and a proven track record of mentoring, training and developing junior team members.
