Come join our team at Oak Park Oasis*_ _Activity Aide Position Part Time 4pm - 8pm, alternating weekends._


Our skilled nursing facility is recruiting an Activity Aide who will create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.

Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties.


Responsibilities of the Activity Aide:


  • The
    Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents
  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing programs and events
  • Play games and make crafts with mobile residents
  • Visit bed residents on a onetoone basis
  • Participate
    in resident assessment and discharge planning
  • May assist with resident mail delivery

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Prefer 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care and Dementia
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Positive, energetic and engaging demeanor
  • High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
