Description

High paced New Jersey based real estate development and management firm is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to ownership on-site in our Short Hills, NJ Office.

This position requires 22-30 hours per week, M-F with a flexible schedule.


Duties/Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the ownership or other assigned executive leadership.
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for executive leadership.
  • Arranges travel and hotel accommodations.
  • Schedules and manages meetings and calendars on behalf of executives.
  • Performs office tasks including maintaining records and filing via paper files or electronically as needed.
  • Communicates sensitive financial information only via approved encrypted channels or mail.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of executive leadership, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to executive leadership and communicates with approved third parties.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Selfstarter who can assess opportunities to provide added value when appropriate.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration and clerical procedures.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • Team player who works well with other staff members in a highpaced office environment.
