Responsibilities:


A Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for, sourcing, attracting, prescreening, interviewing, and hiring employees for XL parts and The Parts House (TPH).

The ideal person will Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind.


Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the hiring managers and HR team to ensure hiring and quality of hire targets are met.
  • Develop solutions that will support the hiring needs of high volume/inseason staffing.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and inperson interviews if possible.
  • Understand the hiring challenges in the external labor market and identify marketspecific sourcing strategies.
  • Participate in 90 days reviews to get retention KPIs
  • Employee retention beyond 90 days is critical to the success of this position and will be one of the measurements of effective hiring practices.
  • Some travel will be required up to 50% depending on the needs of the various markets.

Required Qualifications:


  • 23 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Agency recruitment or similar experience
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business Management or similar experience
  • Experience with fullcycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Work experience in talent acquisition or highvolume agency recruiting role
  • Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
  • A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work in the fast phased environment and maintain Hiring KPIs

Physical Demands:

To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

The occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
