    Property Accountant

    Full-time

    Property management company in Ellicott City seeks a Property Accountant for our portfolio of homeowners and condominium associations. This position will take responsibility for all accounting related to our managed properties and will report directly to the Controller.

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Internal Audit

    Monthly Financial Packages

    Adjusting Journal Entries

    Provide support to Property Accountant for bank reconciliations, A/R & A/P check

    Coordinate preparation Tax Returns

    Coordinate Audits, etc.

    Prepare monthly/quarterly financials

    Supervise/Approve Annual Budgets preparation

    Supervise Monthly Transfers

    Primary financial contact for BODs

    Oversee Delinquency/Collections

    Track Reserve Funding

    Oversee Investments/Cash Management

    Candidate may also be asked to perform general accounting task associated with a Construction Company located within the same office.

    The successful candidate will be a motivated and capable professional who has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Prior experience using Jenark is a plus.
