Job Description
DomainTools is looking for a motivated and talented Business Development Representative to join our growing team supporting our pipeline creation efforts worldwide.
The primary responsibility is to prospect into target accounts and qualify inbound marketing program leads to help develop early-stage responses into qualified sales opportunities.
The role will support the research and outbound motions around key prospect and customer accounts, map market opportunity, and support DomainTools footprint in specific market verticals.
This position requires excellent telequalification, strong email communication skills, detailed lead qualification via various channels, consultative selling skills and tight collaboration with the Account Executives and marketing team to generate new opportunities.
The BDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all products and the Cybersecurity industry in general.

$55,000-$75,000 USD (75% base salary/ 25% variable, uncapped) Responsibilities Develop rapport and build relationships with potential customers through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and networking Work with product marketing, events and demand generation teams to help drive interest in virtual and in-person events Take charge of lead management within (SFDC), ensuring the system is updated with relevant information and data Become an expert on DomainTools and our products. You'll have access to our sales, marketing, product and customer success team to grow your knowledge Review and communicate your activities to ensure the proper frequency of coaching with BDR's is occurring to maximize customer contact Leverage the resources at DomainTools to write compelling and effective prospecting emails and provide feedback to the marketing team on what messaging resonates best with our ICPs Prospect, educate, qualify and develop Target Accounts and inbound leads to create Sales Qualified Leads (SQL) Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure company revenue objectives Requirements 1-3 years of proven excellence in business development, market development or inside sales Proven track record of success in performing market development activities Experience with multi-touch, multi-channel inbound and marketing program lead follow up for prospects and customers 100% reliable, self-directed, self-motivated and detail-oriented. A drive to execute flawlessly Preferred knowledge of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC Experience using or comparable CRM strongly desired Experience using sales enablement platforms Strong understanding of BDR and lead development best practices and procedures Experience in the network/cybersecurity industry would be a strong plus Experience in enterprise software products is strongly desired Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic.
