Job Duties
Eastern State Hospital, located in Williamsburg, Virginia, was founded in 1773, with a well-intentional emphasis on community focused mental health care.
This state of the art campus, situated on 500 acres, consists of two patient care buildings with 300 patients, and a highly skilled staff of over 900.
Eastern State Hospital is part of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) system, and is accredited by the Joint Commission.
8-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. with every other weekend off, staff permitted.*Must be able to complete provided Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of employment.
Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record from the last three years.
Experience driving delivery trucks up to 13 tons GVWR.
Additional Considerations
Food Service training with basic knowledge of food service sanitation, safety and service requirements is preferred.
Special Instructions
This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency, pandemic, or facility need.
All ESH positions may be required to work different shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays, and/or overtime as requested, in the event of an emergency.
