    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPosition SummaryThe Senior Solar Sales Consultant will be responsible for working as a contributing member of the solar sales team focusing on generating new residential and small commercial business.

    This position is an hourly role that requires generating leads, conducting in-home consultations, survey sites, estimate project costs, and develop proposals.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Sales Leadership on cultivating residential and small commercial leads
    • Identify and drive sales plans for the target market and surrounding area
    • Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
    • Spend 50%+ of your time in the field working with clients, estimating projects, and completing Final Walkthroughs
    • Estimate project costs and develop sales proposals
    • Participate in regular sales meetings and required trainings
    • Organize and manage sales pipeline; regular reporting of pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
    • Survey prospective project sites, conduct in-home sales consultations, and guide clients through finance approval and contract signing
    • Supports an organizational culture that encourages and rewards employee involvement, innovative thinking, adaptation to change, responsible risk taking, customer service, and continuous quality improvement
    • Provides excellence and consistency in delivering on customer's expectations of the project, and models our commitment to providing "Tiger Way" service RequirementsQualifications and Experience
    • 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
    • Criminal/civil background check, and motor vehicle records search will be required in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
    • Relationship builder that displays a positive, "Can-Do" attitude and delivers excellent customer service
    • Ability to understand and follow directions
    • Clear understanding and ability to enthusiastically promote safe workplace practices and procedure
    • Demonstrated ability to operate in a manner consistent with Tiger Solar's organizational policies, procedures, and culture
    • Ability to communicate with peers, supervisor, and all other external individuals both effectively and respectfully
    • Strong communication skills
    • Minimum of 3 year in solar sales
    • Advanced knowledge of solar sales, Materials, and Installation practicesPhysical Demands and Work Environment
    • Capable of lifting items such as office supplies sometimes weighing over 25 lbs. as needed
    • Capable of sitting and operating a computer and related equipment for extended periods of time
    • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in written correspondence with team members and/or customers
    • Able to read and understand various signage, instructions, and related paperwork
    • Able to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
    • Able to work in/on confined or uneven areas for extended periods of timeSalary Description $40,000 + Commission ($75,000 target annually)
