- Execute maintenance, disassembly, repair, replacement, testing, and adjustment of all aircraft systems following technical guidelines, engineering directives, and FAA standards.
- Provide line maintenance/flight operations support for BACN E-11A aircraft, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, part replacement, calibration tasks, testing, engine maintenance, and meticulous documentation on aircraft forms.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations in maintaining records, manuals, and inspection forms.
- Conduct all levels of aircraft maintenance and inspections (flight line, in-depth, depot-level) according to USAF procedures and airworthiness approvals.
- Perform aircraft software uploads and monthly navigation database updates.
- Utilize Onboard Maintenance System and Portable Maintenance Access Terminal for identifying aircraft system issues and troubleshooting.
- Operate Air Data Test Set, IFR 6000, IFR 4000, to test aircraft systems.
- Collaborate with team members on aircraft maintenance actions to ensure mission success.
- Conduct daily aircraft systems checks before crew arrival and operations.
- Operate in a confined avionics bay.

We are in search of FAA A&P Certified Technicians
If you are prepared to apply your expertise at Northrop Grumman, the Defense Systems Sector invites you to join our team as an SCA Aircraft Mechanic 2 focusing on avionics.
This role is situated at Robins AFB, GA, and mandates on-site presence on a daily basis as well as readiness to work any required shift.
This position demands national and international deployment for up to 180 days to support CONUS and OCONUS operations as needed for staffing backfill or as per USAF demands.
Upon hiring for this role, readiness and willingness are required to travel within 72 hours of travel notice.
**This role falls under the Service Contract Act category.
Responsibilities include:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification
High School diploma or equivalent
AND
2 years of additional education and relevant experience
Must be a US citizen.
Must have or be able to obtain a DOD secret security clearance quickly.
Must have or be able to obtain a US passport swiftly.
Previous experience in business or regional jets - Global Express, XRS, Global 6000, CRJ, G-5, G-4, Challenger, etc.
Familiarity with altimeter/transponder checks and RVSM guidelines.
Proficient in connector repair, wire harness production, and electronic troubleshooting.
Experience with loading aircraft software and employing various electronic troubleshooting tools.
Willingness to travel as necessary, including internationally.
Readiness to work any shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current DoD Secret Clearance
Four or more years of practical aircraft avionics experience

$34 - $34
