    Responsibilities

    • Provide job skills training for transitioning service members

    DoD SkillBridge Eligibility Criteria

    • Minimum 180 days of active duty
    • Within 12 months of separation or retirement
    • Anticipating an honorable discharge
    • Completion of relevant military training and ethical briefings
    • Written authorization from Unit Commander

    Are you an FAA A&P Certified Technician?

    If you are, Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems Sector has a position for you as an SCA Aircraft Mechanic II located at Robins AFB, Georgia. This role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

    Key Duties

    • Perform line-maintenance and flight operations support for various aircraft models
    • Conduct progressive maintenance and inspections to minimize aircraft downtime
    • Oversee aircraft structure, components, and systems
    • Supervise aircraft maintenance operations and team members

    Qualifications

    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification
    • High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
    • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and US Passport
    • Experience with Business or Regional Jet aircraft

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Current US Passport
    • Expertise in electronics troubleshooting and aircraft maintenance
    • Experience in aircraft rigging, engine maintenance, and composite repairs
    • Medical fitness for global travel

    Salary Range: $30 - $32 per hour

    Northrop Grumman offers competitive salaries based on experience and market conditions. In addition to base pay, employees may qualify for bonuses and long-term incentives. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
