Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.
The Estimator will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring projects are financially viable.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Develop detailed proposals and contracts based on project scope
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to budget
- Conduct regular cost analysis and recommend costsaving strategies
Skills:
- Proficiency in construction estimating techniques
- Strong knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to control costs and optimize project pricing
- Experience with contract negotiation and pricing strategies
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- Bronx, NY: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
Work Location:
In person
