We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist
to join our team.

This position will drive quality objectives and processes in order to support the business and create an excellent customer experience.


This position is based at our corporate office which is centrally located at Rocky Point, overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Pursues quality objectives by performing both internal and external process audits
  • Prepares and completes quality action plans
  • Upholds ISO 9001:2015 requirements
  • Identifies and resolves gaps using corrective action project management techniques
  • Drives system improvements
  • Assists with writing and updating procedures and processes
  • Investigates service and quality issues reported in internal business operations or by customers
  • Coordinates improvements with business operations or suppliers
  • Evaluates and requalifies suppliers
  • Reviews customer surveys for quality objectives
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects by identifying improvements, implementing updates and verifying objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Quality
  • 3+ years of experience in a related quality role
  • Ability to travel required
  • ISO 9001:2015 Auditing experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with process improvement projects, interfacing directly with suppliers and process owners
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects independently
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to gain support in a professional manner with internal partnerships
  • Positive attitude and team player
