Description
The Director of Admission is responsible for all aspects of Fort Worth Academy's admissions process and community outreach efforts.The Director oversees the admission and enrollment processes, from the first communication with an inquiring family to enrollment and ensuring the family feels at home and connected within the greater FWA family.
The Director is a lead team member in organizing on-campus admission events, building internal and external relationships, and cultivating an optimistic school culture.
The Director will serve as FWA's ambassador within the community, broadening awareness of and promoting the school by identifying and cultivating relationships with local preschools, community organizations, local associations, school-related professionals, and area educational leaders.
The Director will develop and maintain these relationships through an energetic, passionate, and thoughtful approach.Being a visible and consistent presence within the community, the Director will create every opportunity to bring visitors to the campus and share Fort Worth Academy's story.
The Director will collaborate with communications and marketing staff to develop a community outreach and FWA awareness plan. The Director reports to the Head of School, and is a member of the school's senior leadership. This is a full-time, year-round position with a generous benefit package including health insurance.Responsibilities include:
Overseeing admissions, enrollment, and high school matriculation processes (admission events, tours, coffees, JR ELI Academy events, etc.)
Developing and creating powerful relationships within the community, specifically with feeder preschools, programs, local associations, and community organizations
Gathering, analyzing, and reporting admission data, trends, and projections to the advancement team and Board of Trustees
Developing and maintaining a vibrant and rigorous Parent Ambassador program to welcome new families, retain current families, and build positive community engagement within the school
Qualifications and Expectations:
Bachelors' Degree required.
Minimum five years of experience in Education or relatable experience.
Proficient in basic technology applications. Google Apps knowledge is essential.
Experience with a Student Admission and Enrollment system.
Excellent verbal, visual, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
A successful track record in setting priorities, sound decision-making, and keen analytical, organization and problem solving skills.
High level of integrity, credibility, diplomacy, and initiative, with a high regard for confidentiality.
Flexibility, sense of humor, and willingness to assist with tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
Participation in select Board of Trustee committees and meetings.
Contribution to the life of the school outside of regular duties is expected.
Represent the school in a positive light and be a strong spokesperson for the school.
