Join our dynamic team at Langston Golf Course, a premier golf destination in the Nation's Capital.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to contribute to the continued success and growth of our esteemed golf course.
As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the golf course, ensuring a world-class experience for our members and guests.
You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee various aspects, including staff management, customer service, event coordination, and facility maintenance.
-Staff Management:
- Supervise and lead a team of dedicated golf course staff.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating personnel to maintain high service standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of customer service strategies to enhance the overall golf experience.
Operations:
- Responsible for managing and executing the academy curriculum.
- Assist in the daytoday operations of the golf course, including tee time management, pro shop operations, and cart fleet management.
- Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards.
Event Coordination:
- Coordinate and execute golf events, tournaments, and special promotions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and attract new patrons.
Financial Management:
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the golf course.
- Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Class A member of PGA/LPGA
- 3+ years of experience in golf course management or a related industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of golf industry trends, rules, and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office and golf management software.
