Compensation package:
$43,000 to $50,000, depending on experience level (includes base salary and estimated quarterly profit-sharing bonuses)

About You:

• You have at least 1 year of experience as a fulltime writer
• Possess quality writing and verbal communication skills
• Have the ability to work independently, seek help as needed, and contribute to team and

company culture

• Are able to work and thrive in a remote environment
• Adapt in a fastpaced environment
• Are able to follow a process and it energizes you to get creative within that process
• Understand and empathize with the searcher
• Possess excellent analytical skills
• Are eager to grow in your understanding of SEO and content marketing
• Have experience working with inhouse style guides preferred
• Have some SEO content writing experience
• Are experienced working with SEMRush and Google Products (GMB, Google Analytics)

preferred

• Hold a Bachelor's degree or have the equivalent level of experience

As Content Specialist, you will:

• Write and produce content for clients
• Create researchbased SEO content templates
• Conduct interviews with clients to gather information for writing a piece
• Publish content to clients' websites, including linking, finding images, alt text, etc.
• Write and produce content for Avalanche Creative on a regular basis
• Incorporate edits from clients
• Meet monthly deadlines
• Work on other duties, as assigned

Schedule and Additional Details:

• Approximately 40 hours per week

○ Exempt positions may require additional hours worked beyond 40 hours per

week based on workload and projects, but it is unlikely to happen outside of

exceptional circumstances

• Expected to be available and working from 10:00 am 4:00 pm Monday
• Friday ET

○ Remaining hours may be completed at any time throughout the week, but a

consistent schedule is expected

• This is a fully remote position that includes access to a collaborative workspace if

located in the Grand Rapids, MI area

• If not located in the Grand Rapids, MI area, infrequent travel may be required
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required
• Must reside in the United States, residents of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Florida strongly

preferred
