SUMMARY:
Responsible for accurately performing all activities related to Accounts Payable, Payroll, Purchasing/Receiving, and Revenue Audit in accordance with established procedures and controls while maintaining the strictest level of confidentiality.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
(Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
Revenue Audit
- Coordinates all Revenue Audit clerical functions which include auditing all revenue generating centers of the Casino.
- Creates, organizes, and disseminates revenue data to authorized entities in the required format.
Accounts Payable
- Performs weekly check runs and credit card vendor payments.
- Inputs invoice information into casino accounting software for all vendors.
- Maintains contact with other departments and various outside vendors.
Payroll
- Inputs information into payroll processing system for all Team Members.
- Generates various endofpayperiod reports.
- Resolves payroll errors and coordinates with other departments to ensure minimum problems.
Purchasing/Receiving
- Inputs new items, processes requisitions, purchase orders and receives goods into inventory control system.
- Assists with monthend inventory counting, data entry, reporting and troubleshooting errors and variances.
- Obtains quotes and places orders for products, equipment and supplies for all nonfood departments utilizing both computerized and manual purchase order systems.
- Establish and maintain files and records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide courteous service and is cordial to all Guests, Team Members and Vendors.
- Make decisions in accordance with approved procedures and precedents using good judgement and initiative.
- Utilize office equipment to perform job functions such as a ten key, computer, and other various equipment.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must possess the ability to learn Payroll, Revenue Audit, and Accounts Payable, Purchasing/Receiving and Inventory Control.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a team environment and embrace Black Oak Casino Resort's Mission and Values.
- Must be able to type 40 wpm, run a ten key by touch and complete spreadsheets; testing required.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must be able to maintain a passing score on Title 31 and SARC programs.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and work well under pressure.
- Must possess excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Must be detailoriented and selfmotivated.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
- Maintains business casual attire according to the dress code.
- Must be able to communicate proficiently in English in both written and oral form. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally more with assistance.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a nonsmoke free environment.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
