- Perform activities related to the preparation and dispensing of drugs and other pharmaceutical supplies to patients under the supervision of pharmacists.
- Distribute medications or documents to patients and resolve customer pharmacy-related issues at pharmacy point-of-sale windows.
- Assist with distribution of stock medications, over-the-counter products, and other supplies to clinic staff.
- Comply with all applicable federal, Hennepin County, and NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center policies, procedures, and patient care standards.
- Develop technical knowledge and competency of products/services provided by the pharmacy in order to provide information and assist patients and clinic staff.
- Participate in trainings, educational and professional programs and/or review professional literature on an ongoing basis to maintain pharmacy knowledge, competency, and certification.
- One of the following:
- Graduation from a pharmacy technician training program.
- One year or more of experience in a pharmacy technology or health care related position.
- A valid pharmacy technician registration in the state of Minnesota. Nice to have:

Location and hours:
This position will be located at the NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota Work hours are negotiable but will be weekdays, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and rotating Saturdays every three weeks from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This position will also require working one evening shift a week until 7:30 p.m., when evening hours resume.
